Joan Tower’s music makes some demands on listeners, but it always rewards your attention. These are mostly pictorial pieces, with visual imagery in their content and titles. For example, you might not be able to see the exact image Tower describes just from hearing the String Quartet Night Fields, but the impression of rippling wheat in the darkness makes great sense after you’ve heard the piece. For listeners with even a mild sense of adventure, I recommend Tower’s music highly. This is a handy basic kit. The kit is missing or could use a needle driver and large pickups. But, overall for the quality and price, this makes a great basic kit.

this helped me fulfill the dissection kit requirement for school. it had everything i was missing. due to the way it folds up it was very easy to add extra instruments and know that they won’t fall out. the pocket works well to hold extra things like gloves, extra scalpel blades and scissors. the best part is that i can fold it all up and throw it into my school bag and i know everything i need is right there. so for me, it’s perfect.
